Juniors,  Are you interested in a career in education? Do you enjoy working with children? Consider Teach Oklahoma as an elective next year! Applications can be found in the counseling office or from Ms. Iannazzo in F110. They are due TODAY.

NHS has a meeting during tutorial on Thursday.

Students, who are interested in being a part of the 2019-2020 Ruff Draft Newspaper staff next year, need to fill out an application form that you can find in the Counseling Office. If you are thinking about broadcasting the news or even writing for a newspaper, this is a great opportunity for you! These forms need to be filled out, and turned in to Mr. Morton in room 24B by February 8th. If you have any questions, you can visit him in Room 24B or email him at his school email address.

Young Democrats & Young Republicans will meet in Mr. Williams room 203, this Friday from 3:30-4:30

Are you interested in design, photography, or writing? Yearbook is looking for new staff members for next year! Pick up an application outside of room 148 in G Hall.

Students, if you don’t have an enrollment form for next year, be sure to pick one up in the Counseling Office. Enrollment forms are due back to your English teacher by February 8.

Students-

The ACT is this Saturday, Feb 9. Check-in begins at 7;30 if you are assigned to Santa Fe. Remember your required ID, admission ticket, Sharpened #2 pencils, and calculator!

 

Attention Juniors –

Boys State applications are available in the Counseling Office and should be returned to Ms. Brown in the Counseling Office by February 28th. This is an excellent and prestigious leadership opportunity!

 

Girls State applications are due the third week of February. This is also an excellent and prestigious leadership opportunity. See Mrs. Hood for further information.

  

Multicultural Club is hosting an event for Black History Month. Come join us on Feb. 11 from 4:00-6:30 in the library.  We will have presentations from various countries of Africa, poetry slam, rap, and cultural food!

DWDW Bowling Night is coming up! February 11th from 7-9 at Boulevard Bowl. Tickets are $20 and include 2 hours of bowling and shoe rental. You can buy a ticket from a stuco member all of this week and next week, or pick up a form outside the stuco room to reserve a lane for a group of 6!

Attention Students!

Come support DWDW and your talented show choir by coming to “Howling With the Wolves” Monday, February 11th, 6th hour. Tickets are $5 and are available at the Financial Office starting Friday.

Mr. Harp, Mr. Williams and Mrs. Shadid are leading a 13-day trip to Europe next summer, the summer of 2020.  We will be visiting Florence, Rome and Paris. Go see one of them if you are interested and want more information!
