Dear Santa Fe Students and Families:

Welcome to the 2019-2020 School Year at Edmond Santa Fe High School!  We are very excited to begin our twenty-seventh year of existence as the Edmond Santa Fe Wolves!

As you may know, this year will bring many positive facility changes to our growing school thanks to the ongoing support of the Edmond community.  When school starts, we will have a new Band Room/Storm Shelter, a renovated and reconfigured Fine Arts Wing, a total renovation of the classroom areas in C and D Hall, a reconditioned and redesigned competition gym floor, a new speaker system and video board in our competition gym, ongoing improvements to the audio/visual technology in the auditorium, two full-time SRO Edmond Police Officers assigned to our school and Heartland Middle School, and new school safety measures including Access Control Doors and Security IDs for Students, Faculty, and Staff.  All of these facility enhancements are much appreciated and will help to improve the safety and educational opportunities for our students during their time at school each day.

Since students, faculty, and staff are all receiving new School IDs that will be worn each day and used to access doors throughout campus, we all therefore share the same identity as “Wolves.”  With that in mind, we have created a School Goal Statement that we hope will become an important part of how we operate moving forward:

We are all Edmond Santa Fe Wolves.  It says so on our IDs that we will wear every day.  And, we have the potential to continue to do great things just like so many who have come before us at Edmond Santa Fe.  By focusing on what we have in common (being part of Santa Fe), we can create a solid school community with a healthy and safe climate and culture.  We can all share in the responsibility to help our school be the best it can be.

We are not abandoning the idea of Protect the PACK (Practice Respect, Accept Responsibility, Commit to Excellence, and Keep it Classy).  These are the character traits and values that must exist in order for us to accomplish great things.  PACK applies to students and educators, and together we can move our school in a positive direction.
