Head Coach, Troy Lallemand

Position: Head Boys’ Basketball Coach/Health and PE Teacher

Coach Lallemand is entering his 1st year at Santa Fe after spending the previous 3 years at Edmond Memorial; this will be Coach Lallemand’s 16th year in education. He was part of a staff that helped lead Memorial to a combined 42-14 record and 2 State Tournament appearances the past 2 seasons. Before Memorial, Coach Lallemand spent 2 seasons as the Head Coach at Piedmont High School. The season prior to his time at Piedmont, he served as an assistant coach at Bixby High School. The Spartans finished the 2013-2014 season with an 18-9 record, winning their first ever 6A Regional and 6A Area titles earning them a spot in the 6A state tournament.

Prior to coaching at Bixby, he spent 4 years as an assistant coach at Kapaun Mount Carmel Catholic High School in Wichita, Kansas and the next 4 seasons as the Head Boys’ Varsity Basketball Coach in Winfield, Kansas. During his time at Kapaun, the Crusaders won the 2006 Greater Wichita Athletic League, their 1st since 1979. The following season, they placed 4th in the 2007 5A State tournament. As the Head Coach in Winfield, he helped the Vikings to the 2nd best 4 year start in the previous 41 seasons. The Vikings finished the 2013 season with a 14-10 mark and a berth in the 4A State Tournament held in Salina, Kansas.

Prior to entering the teaching and coaching profession, Coach Lallemand attended Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri where he was a member of the Lions baseball team. In 2005, he received his BSE in Kinesiology. Coach Lallemand attended high school in Girard, Kansas, where he was a 4A All-State performer in both football and basketball.

Coach Lallemand currently teaches in the Physical Education Department at Santa Fe and resides in Edmond with his wife Megan and their two fur babies Jemma and Buddy.
